Council Mission Statement
The
role of the Westlane School Council is to act as an advisory
body to the school administration on issues related to school
life.
In
this advisory capacity the School Council may provide input
on the following:
*Maintaining
a focus on student learning and the best interests of
all students
*Developing
or revising policies and guidelines for implementation
*Developing
action plans for improvement for school program, policies
and goals
*Promoting
parental and community input on matters under consideration
*Fostering
links between school, the parents, and the community at
large
